April Event Recap and Upcoming June Celebrations

A Memorable Day at the Oregon Rail Heritage Center

On April 20th, we hosted a fantastic event at the Oregon Rail Heritage Center, bringing together train enthusiasts and community supporters for a memorable day. The event featured 45-minute train rides along the scenic Willamette River in vintage rail cars, pulled by the UP96 diesel locomotive. Attendees enjoyed snacks and beverages, making the day even more delightful.

The event highlighted the ongoing efforts to restore the iconic Washington Park and Zoo Railway, with many visitors learning about our mission and how they can contribute to the cause. The turnout was amazing, and we are grateful to everyone who joined us and made the day a success.
